DAY 7 - NIGHT OF REDEEMING THE NEW GENERATION

Bible reading:
Ex.2:1-10; 2 Tim. 1:5

Bible Text: 
Prov. 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go so that when he is old he will not depart from it”


MIDNIGHT MEDITATION:
A look at the tabloids shows that the rate at which children are getting wrongly influenced and involved in crime is on the increase. This is as a result of poor home training. The vast responsibility for the training and upbringing of a child resides greatly on the woman. Without the motherly care and guidance, the training of a child is incomplete. Jochebed was the one God used through her faith and works to bring forth Moses and also ensure that he fulfilled his God-ordained purpose. The land of Egypt was filled with iniquity and idol worship and any child brought up at the heart of such a sinful country would be bound to follow closely such dictates. But for the wise and timely influence of Jochebed, Moses would have lost his vision and focus.

How frightening it was for a pregnant woman to hear of the announcement that all male children born by the Hebrew women would be thrown into the river Nile to die. She must have prayed and fasted for a female child, but when Moses came she knew he was a child with a difference and devised a plan to save him from destruction.

As mothers, women, ladies, we have the responsibility of ensuring that our children are trained and guided under the fear and nurture of God. You should do all with the help of God to ensure that your children are brought up in the fear of God.

“when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.” (2 Timothy 1:5-6 NKJV)

Eunice and Lois are also examples of women who took accurate time to pray and show their son/grandson the way of the Lord. Eunice was a Jew but had married a Greek husband who may not have known about God or believe in God. They knew that if they failed in training up Timothy in God’s standard, he would be derailed by his unbelieving peers or be confused by the members of his father’s house into choosing the path of evil.

Without the prayers and training of Jochebed, Moses would never have been the man who led the Israelites out of the bondage of the Egyptians; without the prayers and upbringing of Eunice and Lois upon Timothy, he would not be a great evangelist who had the youths in mind. Where are your children? Where are your wards under your care? Are they walking in the plan of God or being misled by the devil into evil vices?

The growth and development of our great nation and families lie in the children we bring up today and if the right virtues are not being deposited in them at the right time then there will be catastrophe. From your children, do we have youths that will stand for the right no matter the cost? Do we have Daniels and Solomons being raised up today among our children? It is time we make our corrections now. This can only be done at the foot of the cross. Ezekiel 11:19 states “then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them and take the stony heart out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people and I will be their God.” It is only through God that the hearts of our youths and children can be restored back to the divine will and plan of God. Tonight, arise and plead the cause of our children and youths.


PRAY UNTIL GOD ALMIGHTY ANSWERS (PUGAA)
IT’S MIDNIGHT PRAYER:
  1. Our Father, I present the youths and children that you have given unto us, you said that they are for signs and wonders, every sign that is attached to them that is not from your throne of grace is tonight dismantled and destroyed in Jesus name.
  2. God of wonders, captivate the hearts of our children and youths with your loving and outstretched arm and lead them into your path of truth 
  3. Every plan by the enemy to use these youths as a tool to propagate evil is hereby thwarted. The sons and daughters of the coming generation shall not be wasted in Jesus name. 
  4. Father Almighty, in this season, pour out your fire of revival upon our youths and children; let all strange things not from your kingdom that had appealed to them be repulsive from tonight in Jesus name. 
  5. Let there be an infilling of your word and love among the youths and children in my family, State and nation. Deposit in our children the boldness to spread the Gospel abroad in Jesus name. 
  6. Every man or woman luring our children out of your plan to the path of destruction, Father, expose them; let their counsel be like that of Ahitophel.
  7. Father, in this season, raise up our sons and daughters, to challenge cultural heresies in our Land, instil in them fire within to pull down altars not planted for your glory. 
  8. Father, I declare that the hearts of our youths and children shall revolt against sexual immorality and idolatry. Raise up youths that will be bold to say no to sexual perversions in all its different forms and ways. 
  9. Lord, liberate the destinies of our children from the clutches of the evil one, let every evil oath taken in the days of ignorance, be blotted out in the name of Jesus. 
  10. Equip me with Your grace, boldness and sound mind to fight the good fight of faith needed to realise my destiny. Empower and inspire me not to stay and watch my destiny destroyed but to arise and redeem my destiny in Jesus name. 
  11. Lord, every youth or child targeted for death – death in destiny, career, health wise- be redeemed this minute; breathe upon them life and strength for greater exploits in your kingdom. 
  12. Lord God, break every yoke of negative addiction in our youths/children to the things of this world – pornography, cultism, killing, stealing, gambling, worldly/unedifying music etc. Raise great and exemplary leaders, entrepreneurs, evangelists and visioneers among the youths in our land.

Blessings from the bossom of a godly woman:
  1. I declare in accordance to Job 5:12 that the devices and plans of the crafty over the destinies of our youth and children are tonight frustrated and their hands are weakened and cannot continue their enterprise. 
  2. By the declaration in Joel 2:28,I declare that our youths shall fulfill their destinies and live their lives according to God’s ordained purpose.

FAMILY MIDNIGHT PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
N/B: Beloved be on your knees lay your right hand on your head and by faith prophetically claim all the midnight declarations. See yourself as someone kneeling before a great messenger of God and after claiming all declarations, go back and sleep
  1. From this season, you shall no more miscarry God’s blessing. Your breakthrough shall not be aborted, destiny hijackers shall be frustrated and you will be highly celebrated in Jesus name. 
  2. You shall be overtaken with blessings, surrounded by Angels and led by the Holy Spirit of God. You shall break records and set new standards in every area of life to the glory of God in Jesus name. 
  3. Your greatness shall increase and God Almighty will comfort you on every side according to Psalm 71:21. This is your season of undeniable fruitfulness, supernatural increase and surprises in Jesus name. 
  4. For couples who have been trusting God for the fruit of the womb, where one baby could not stay in your womb, receive grace to carry twins and triplets in Jesus name. Amen. 
  5. God Almighty will certainly bless the works of your hand and provide wonderful opportunities that will cause a turnaround for you in Jesus name. Amen. 
  6. According to the word of God in Isaiah 8:18, from this very moment, you shall be for signs and wonders in your family and constituency to the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen.

ACTION TIME FOR CHRIST’S FAMILY:
  1. Pray for those connected to this program. Pray that God will visit them with answers to their prayers and that they shall not lack any good thing but be highly favoured in Jesus name. 
  2. Send the prophetic declarations in this page to at least twelve young people and strongly encourage them to join in the midnight prayers.

It is superceeding fear by making your prayers with very strong faith. Anybody without courage is a knife without an edge. One man with courage makes an effective majority. However, it is interesting to note that there can be no courage in men unless God supports them by His word. Nabal’s foolish reply to David would have cost the death of many people who were not even related to him. Come to think of it, was the reply given by Nabal related to the question David asked? David had requested that Nabal give his men a little meal for sustenance and Nabal’s reply was that there are many servants that break away from their master and he would not want to be associated with such.
