DAY 19 - NIGHT OF MAXIMIZING TIMES AND SEASON

Bible Text:
Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts...”

MIDNIGHT MEDITATION:
Time and season encompasses much more than the succession of events in this world. The plan and purpose of God are tied to times and seasons.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.”

In His wisdom and sovereignty, God sets an appropriate time for everything. At the right time, Christ was born (Gal. 4:4) at the right time He lifts us up (1 Peter 5:6) Don't run ahead of God's timing. Timing is very important. All the experiences listed in these verses are appropriate at certain times. The secret to peace with God is to discover, accept and appreciate God's perfect timing. The danger is to doubt or resent God's timing. This can lead to despair, rebellion or moving ahead without His advice and grace. There is a time when God will:

1. Take His rightful place in your life/family.
2. When He will exalt the righteous and ensure that His heritage is granted to Him
3. When He will restructure, restore and raise up.

As believers and family, our problem today is that we fail to think the thoughts of God, therefore, we weep when we should not. Micah 4:12 “But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord, nor do they understand His counsel; for He will gather them like sheaves to the threshing floor”. Have you ever asked yourself, what is the purpose of God for your life? Beloved, this is that moment. Until we begin to seriously ask for his purpose for the times and seasons we are in, only then will we catch a glimpse of what things He has in store for us and our lives will change for the better. Not until Daniel began to seek His purpose for the times and seasons they were living in, while in Babylon, only then did God's miracle become real in their affairs. Dan. 9:2

“In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolation of Jerusalem".

Christ Jesus understood the purpose, times and seasons of His coming and did not take for granted any of these. Luke 4:17-20

“And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written “The spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken hearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.”

Tonight, as you discover the purpose for your existence, immediately get committed to it. We are told of the tribe of Issachar that they understood the times and seasons they were “Of the sons of the Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command.” (1 Chron. 12:32)

The kings always sought for people that understood the time and season over the realm of affairs. when Herod missed the timing, the wise men arrived against his plans and the only option left for him was to ask from them who had the understanding he had missed. Matt. 2:7 says, “then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared.”

When you miss the timing, you miss the action and become the question. The Psalmist prayed thus in Psalm 31:15 “My times are in your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.” Certain events are programmed into certain times and seasons all you need to do is to key into it and not to be unnecessarily worrisome/anxious. Tonight is the night of reclaiming the blessings of the times and seasons. As we are set to do this, we should never forget that we are commanded to redeem the times and seasons. Ephesians 5:16 “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Time is the deposit every one has in the Bank of God and no one knows his/her balance. He who neglects the present moment throws away all he has. Time is not a utility; it is an opportunity. We are to redeem the time because we ourselves are redeemed. Before you pray, let's take you to Richard Baxter's prayer guide: “Spend your time in nothing which you know must be repented of, in nothing on which you might not pray for the blessing of God: in nothing which you could not review with a quiet and happy conscience on your dying bed: in nothing which you might not safely and properly be found doing if death should surprise you in the act.”

Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday. Tomorrow is a post-dated cheque, today is the cash. One today is worth two tomorrows. The morning hour has gold in its hand, reclaim your times and seasons and the rest of your life shall surely be the very best. The enemy's time table for you and your household shall be destroyed as you pray tonight and grace to know and maximise your times and seasons shall rest upon you from now onward.

PRAY UNTIL GOD ALMIGHTY ANSWERS (PUGAA)
IT'S MIDNIGHT PRAYERS:

1. O God, make me and my seed sign and wonder to my world and generation. Grant me the grace to know the right times and seasons for me to act and help me to act wisely in Jesus name.
2. Jehovah, send Your sword like whirlwind to bring to naught all the expectations of the wicked against me and my family in Jesus name.
3. O God Almighty, emerge like fire in every situation of my life causing me grief and let Your fury and flame consume all traces and handwriting of the enemy in my life most especially in the area of abuse of times and seasons. Help me to recover Lord Jesus.
4. Bring to naught the indignation of the enemy and make me rest in Your perfect peace in Jesus name.
5. Dear Lord, command Your comfort in my life and let my life flourish henceforth like a palm tree; may the rest of my life be the very best in Jesus name.
6. Gracious God, extend Your peace and prosperity to my life like a river, command every area of my life to produce your expected fruit in my life in Jesus name.
7. Help me dear Lord, to travail in faith and bring forth your miracle in my life and family. Command a turnaround in my life that joy will replace every trace of sorrow in my life in Jesus name.
8. Make Your Word paramount in my life that it be not despised through my life, confront and conquer all forces of the wicked that may try to ridicule Your name in my life in Jesus name.
9. Save me from the delusion and devices of the enemies. Transform me to the image of Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
10. Set your throne in my heart and make me to do that which is right in Your eyes at all times in Jesus name.
11. O God Almighty, make me to know my time and season and learn how to comport myself and walk in Your will and way in Jesus Name.
12. Father, help me to survive Your divine evaluation and be in your perfect will at all time. Save me from all horrible and desolate experience in life in Jesus most precious name – amen.

N/B: Beloved be on your knees, lay your right hand on your head and by faith prophetically claim all the midnight declarations. See yourself as someone kneeling before a great messenger of God and after claiming all declarations, go back and sleep.

3. Whatever you have been lacking in life that will enhance your productivity, inspire you and fulfil your earnest desire, as you have prayed tonight by faith in Christ Jesus, You shall receive far above it in Jesus name.
4. The I AM THAT I AM, which is the Lord God Almighty shall show up for you; the blood of Jesus shall speak for you; every evil that is passing your neighbourhood shall pass over your house and your life as seen in Exodus 12:13 in Jesus name
5. The Lord will not allow the destroyer to come into your house to strike you as recorded in Exodus 12:23. The Lord will bless your bread and your water and He will take sickness away from the midst of you in Jesus name.
6. You shall fulfil the number of your days. You shall be filled with the Spirit of God in wisdom, understanding, and knowledge in all manner of workmanship as written in Exodus 31:3-5 and these shall pave way for your extraordinary breakthrough in Jesus name.
