DAY 8 - NIGHT OF DIVINE INTERVENTION

Bible text:
1 Sam.1:10 “And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish.”

MIDNIGHT MEDITATION:
Sometimes in life it seems as if we are going through a very rough patch that has no hope or end in sight; from the long desire that have persisted yearly to distraught news of failures. Every year Hannah would follow her husband to Shiloh to sacrifice to the Lord and pray for the gift of a child; she was often taunted by her husband’s second wife Peninnah because of her childless state. Peninnah made it her point of duty to always remind Hannah about her status and this became a great cause of worry to Hannah who gradually degenerated to stress and starvation. Many women today are facing taunts and ridicule in their lives by family members or close associates because of a particular lack, some as a result of childlessness, no marriage, no source of income or livelihood, they are persecuted daily, etc.

Hannah did not find solace in the love of her husband, the double portion of sacrifice he gave her as a show of his love was not offering the needed comfort for her anymore. It rather provoked tears and depression in Hannah’s heart. When we are burdened, we find ourselves in the position of Hannah, the things that naturally would bring joy and happiness would be repulsive to you; and you would want to avoid them at all cost.

With all hope lost, Hannah did the only thing she knew would offer solace to her, she went to God in prayer. She had been doing this year after year but this time around there was a difference. At night after the final festivities for Shiloh, Hannah arose and went to the tabernacle of the Lord and in deep anguish and bitterness of soul, she wept unto the Lord. She prayed relentlessly to God, asking Him for a major breakthrough, she was not confused, she knew what she wanted and laid it bare to God.

While she was making her heart wrenching supplication to God that night, Eli the priest saw her and mistook her for a woman drunk with wine, maybe from the festivities marking the end of Shiloh, and rebuked her to desist from drinking. How discouraging for one to be wrongly accused by a priest whom you go for help and intercession, but Eli was human. Most times our pastors or people that we go to for help are unavailable at the time we need them, most times they misunderstand our plight and rather accuse you of one thing or the other. But we have someone that does not slumber nor sleep, one that understands our every need and knows just how to handle it and bring about our deliverance.

That night, she had an encounter with God. The Most High hearkened unto her and granted her hearts desires and gave her an assurance through the words of Eli the priest. The following morning, when Hannah and her family awoke and returned to their home, Hannah’s story changed and in the course of time, she that was barren brought forth a child, she that was termed unproductive, gave birth to six children, she that was scorned became the one that was sought after.

Beloved, after the great Shiloh feast everyone goes home to relax, but that was when Hannah knew she would get the undivided attention of God, away from the festivities, the noise and jubilations of the crowd, she sought her own quiet moment and place to talk with God. At a time where everyone’s focus was on food and drinks, Hannah’s heart was before the Most High God with her supplications. The night-time is a period where you persevere at the foot of the cross for your breakthrough, the night time is a time where your petitions receive divine recognition and approval. In the calmness of the night, away from the noise and distractions of the day, is a time where you can freely express your hearts pain and desires unto the King of kings and ask for divine intervention in every aspect of your life that seem to be disintegrating. What do you desire from God, what has brought tears and defeat to you, what name have you been called, are you seeking for a breakthrough? The all sufficient God is awake; He never slumbers nor sleeps and is patiently waiting, paying careful attention to what you have to say. Do you know what you want, tell it to Him tonight, it’s a night of supernatural release, heaven is set, pray as never before.

PRAY UNTIL GOD ALMIGHTY ANSWERS (PUGAA)
IT’S MIDNIGHT PRAYER:

1. Almighty Father, I come before you, just as I am, weak, in need of your strength, in need of a word from you, speak to me at this midnight hour.
2. Lord God, I present to you this lack ............................. meet me at the point of my needs and give me reasons to testify.
3. Father, whatever problem or challenge that has led to my ridicule and shame, let it bring forth celebrations and praise in this season.
4. Father, revive in me and keep aflame the fire and grace to pray at all times; may my love for you exceed that for the gifts and things of the world.
5. In agreement with Psalm 27:13-14 I decree that I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living; I will wait and be of good courage because the Lord strengthens me.
6. All sufficient God, make available your grace to me. With your mighty and outstretched arm deliver me and my family from all that have caused us pain (name them)
7. My present help in time of trouble do not forsake me but show yourself strong for one with God is a majority and cannot be defeated.
8. Lord, you are my shield and hiding place, my shelter in the time of storm; protect me from the fiery darts of the enemy in Jesus name.
9. Every spirit of stagnation and unproductivity, I command you to be gone from my life, every part of my life that has refused to be productive positively, receive the life and strength from God above and function from tonight to the glory of God.
10. Father, for every time I have been knocked down, I receive grace to bounce back tonight. O God, arise and contend with those that contend with me and grant me breakthrough in Jesus name. Amen
11. Lord, I receive power to dominate every satanic challenge and embargo placed in any area of my life and family in Jesus name. Every weapon targeted towards me be neutralized.
12. I am here unto God not man, Father meet my needs and the needs of other sons and daughters of yours calling upon you tonight according to your riches in glory in Jesus name.

Blessings from the bossom of a godly woman:

1. I speak and declare that lines are falling for me in pleasant places and I have a goodly heritage, the problems that I have faced, tonight, they have been replaced with God’s promotion.
2. Tonight, by God’s grace I have received from heaven that which was looking impossible. I receive it for my family also.

FAMILY MIDNIGHT PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

N/B: Beloved be on your knees lay your right hand on your head and by faith prophetically claim all the midnight declarations. See yourself as someone kneeling before a great messenger of God and after claiming all declarations, go back and sleep

1. You shall be an underwriter of Kingdom initiatives. Grace to make and give millions to Jesus’ Kingdom advancement is locating you now in Jesus name. Amen.
2. Every effort made by anybody to frustrate your success in life, shall miraculously lead you to greater heights. Cases that have been closed against you will be reopened in your favour in Jesus name.
3. Every strange substance in your body causing discomfort, pains, fear and worry shall disappear right now in Jesus name. You will take delivery of the goodness of healing and deliverance in Jesus matchless name – Amen.
4. As Joseph’s brothers hated him and sent him abroad without a Visa to become a prime minister in a foreign land; whatever decision and actions your enemies will take against you this season, shall surprisingly turn for your blessings in Jesus name. Amen.
5. Abundant life shall be your portion according to John 10:10b. Every obstacle blocking your access to divine fulfilment is tonight cleared off the way in Jesus name. Amen.
6. The unfailing strength of God will accompany you wherever you go from today; unwanted issues, deadly habits standing against your progress in life is hereby uprooted in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

ACTION TIME FOR CHRIST’S FAMILY:

1. Pray for all those who have contributed positively to the production and distribution of this prayer manual and the organizers of this program, that God shall visit them individually. Declare that the city you are staying shall bear fruit for you and your family.
2. Inform and invite at least seven people in your neighbourhood or place of work above the age of fifty to join you and participate in the family midnight prayer. Remember to send them a reminder tomorrow night before you pray.
