DAY 14 - NIGHT OF DRINKING FROM THE REAL FOUNTAIN

Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

MIDNIGHT MEDITATION:
The people of Samaria were seen as sinners because they intermarried with foreigners thus they were strictly avoided by the Jews. The Samaritan woman was an outcast and a public mockery to her people, most people must have avoided her like the plague because of her actions and her lifestyle. In ancient times, women usually went to fetch water in the morning and at the evening when the sun was cool; but the Samaritan woman, maybe in order to avoid the leering eyes of the other Samaritan women, left fetching of her water till the afternoon when she was sure no one would be present at the well. She was shocked when she went to the well to fetch water and saw Jesus who spoke with her; she must have thought Jesus would judge her, hence her aggressive reply in 9 & 12 “then the woman of Samaria said to Him, "How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" ... are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?"

This Samaritan woman is like every other young woman who wants and craves satisfaction in life, she wanted to know her purpose and mandate and fulfil it but had no sense of direction or guide to her purpose. Therefore her numerous mistakes; she was lost. She thought to find contentment and peace of mind lies in relationships; thus her track record of living with different men that she could not lay a claim to. She had gotten married to the first man thinking that all would be well but she got the shock of her life that within that marriage her purpose and self worth did not reside. She moved on to husband number two through five but all to no avail.

She was desperately looking for something new; something refreshing that would put her in the place of divine mandate, she was shattered, battered and uncoordinated; when she met Jesus she replied all the questions targeted towards her personal life honestly. She did not want to cover up anymore, maybe the cohabiting was not working out the way she had expected it and was heading swiftly to destruction.

Many people today are like the Samaritan woman. They are confused as to how they are to behave, act, what to expect. The world has told us so many lies that we have left the pathway and the assurance of God's love upon our lives.

There are so many lies infiltrating the world that the truth seems to have been swallowed up totally. The Samaritan woman had bought into the lie that she needed a man always in her life for her to find fulfillment and after five experiences she had still not learnt her lesson because of the lie that had gotten deep root in her life.

These lies as told by the devil are there to distract us from the mandate and purpose God had deposited in each and every one of us to fulfill. These lies make it difficult for us to have a relationship with God our maker and bask fully in the glory of His outstanding love. Like the Samaritan, many of us are looking for fulfillment, purpose and satisfaction in life; it cannot be found in marriage, job, money, children, it is only in Jesus, the life giving stream, the fountain of life. When you stoop down and drink from this fountain that can never run dry, this fountain that knows all about you, this fountain that knows the end of a thing from the beginning, this fountain that saw and heard the heart's cry of the Samaritan woman when she thought no one was aware, this fountain that broke protocol by stopping at that well at the time the Samaritan woman was scheduled to come and fetch water, so that He could address her deepest need; all thirst in life shall be quenched. This can only be done by the living water.

Beloved, Jesus, the Fountain of Life still flows; He is free of charge and available to you. Stoop down and drink and let the thirst of frustration, of barrenness and all that seemed impossible in your life be quenched.

PRAY UNTIL GOD ALMIGHTY ANSWERS (PUGAA)
IT'S MIDNIGHT PRAYER:

1. O Lord, malnourished and depleted like the Samaritan woman I lay before your awesome throne, let me drink of the fountain of life tonight.
2. Great God, my path to life is within your control, break protocols and bring me to the place of my destiny in Jesus name.
3. O Lord, I have wandered and searched and found that none can fulfill, let there be an outpouring of your love upon me; open my heart to receive the refreshment of your love anew.
4. Father, deliver me from the lies of the world that have cornered me and steered me away from your love; I declare that in accordance to Ps. 23:1 You, o Lord, are enough for me in the land of the living.
5. Whatever I have done in the course of believing the lies told by the world that has pushed me farther away from you, Lord, please tonight, forgive me and receive me back into Your loving arms.
6. I decree and declare that I am complete in Christ Jesus; because I am the apple of God's eyes, no evil or challenge shall turn me back from the track where God has called me to be.
7. Mighty God, I refuse to believe in the lies that have been published abroad the earth; give me the strength and grace to live above the standard of the world in Jesus name.
8. Father as I come to you in honesty and humility please turn things around for my good in Jesus name.
9. O Lord, just as you heard the heart's cry of the Samaritan woman, please hear my heart's cry and deliver me from all that beset me and seek to do me harm.
10. May I not be distracted from the mandate and purpose that you have endowed me with. Grant me grace to drink from the real fountain always in Jesus name.
11. Merciful Father, have mercy upon me and my household in Jesus name.
12. Father, may all those that have mocked me and brought me to shame come round to celebrate with me.

FAMILY MIDNIGHT PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
N/B: Beloved be on your knees, lay your right hand on your head and by faith prophetically claim all the midnight declarations. See yourself as someone kneeling before a great messenger of God and after claiming all declarations, go back and sleep.

1. According to the word of God in Psalm 132:11-12, may God set upon your throne the fruit of your body and may the children of your covenants sit upon your throne forever in Jesus name.
2. Because you are connected to the family of Abraham through your new birth in Jesus Christ, all the covenant blessings of Abraham in Genesis 12:2-3 shall be downloaded into your family line. You shall be a major channel of blessings in Jesus name. Amen
3. The nine fruit of the Spirit shall begin to reign in your life and you shall manifest; The Lord will shower upon your life many honours in every dimension in Jesus name.
4. This season, God Almighty will give you a vision that will promote divine provision and usher in human support in Jesus name. Amen.
5. The bondage of lack and want that seems to be endless in your life has come to an end this season in Jesus name. Amen.
6. Since Jesus Christ has set you free, you are free indeed. Evidence of liberation shall be seen all over you in Jesus name.

ACTION TIME FOR CHRIST'S FAMILY:

1. Pray for children whose parents have never been married and ask God to forgive their parents and raise the children up to the glory of God.
2. Reach out to several people to take advantage of the last week and join you for the family midnight prayers.
