DAY 12 - NIGHT OF SETTING YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT

Luke 10:38-42

Bible text:
John 15:6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”

MIDNIGHT MEDITATION:
It is so easy to get engrossed in serving than to take time off to actually receive nourishment. Martha was a typical everyday woman that we meet in our time, she was homely, smart, caring, very hardworking, cared about the interest of others before her own, if she was married the husband would have been over showered with love and affection. How many women still take special care of their families like Martha dutifully did? How many still make exceptions and do positive things that will bring genuine smile on the faces of her immediate family members?

Despite being all of the above and having all the sterling qualities, Martha lacked self love. She lacked and did not realize the importance of having a personal relationship with God. Many today exhaust themselves in the path of service and fail to replenish their source of strength. Several people today have immersed themselves in the hustle and bustle of the day without giving credence to the Lord Most High; when last did you carve out an hour of your time in a day to just worship or praise God without having any request to place before His feet? When last did you offer God your unreserved attention without demanding anything in return? You will realize that the longest time we have spent in the presence of God is because there was a pressing need beyond our frail strength that needed urgent divine attention. God is not less God if you do not pray or worship Him, He is not greater than He is if you pray or praise but it is for our own good and edification that we pray and worship him because when we do, He arises and performs wonders on our behalf. Can you offer God quality time from your busy schedule?

Listen to what the scriptures says in John 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” (NKJV)

We are tempted most times to measure our worth by how busy we are, by what we accomplish in life, by how we meet the expectations of others, oh how the culture thinks we should view others. Mostly as women, we are pulled and dragged at different directions, we are expected to do a lot of things at the same time and most times we lose the identity that was given to us by God. We are worried and distracted by many things in the course of life which can be of noble and good intentions like providing for our families, giving out to meet the needs of others, serving God in church and serving others. But, if with all the activities our personal relationship with God is not strong we are likely to end up being broken, anxious and empty and we will constantly live under the approval of others.

Just as inhaling and exhaling is necessary for the existence of the human so also is listening and having a personal relationship with God. We keep exhaling each day through services and activities but most often do we forget to inhale deeply through nourishment from the word of God. Most times when it seems as if our services are not noticed, we complain that we are not getting the attention, recognition and help that we think we deserve; all that you need to serve God is His approval not human approval or views. Many are running after the vision and purpose of others leaving theirs unattended to. Beloved on the last day, the Lord of Host will deny knowing such because their gaze and focus was fixed on a fellow human.

Beloved, will you hand over all that beset you and take time off for a time to refresh your soul and ascribe to God the praise and worship that He deserves. Listen to Jesus tonight and reset your priority, “But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:42 NKJV)

PRAY UNTIL GOD ALMIGHTY ANSWERS (PUGAA)
IT’S MIDNIGHT PRAYER:

1. Lord, may I not be too busy and forget to have quality time for a moment of refreshing with you.
2. Father let me not be driven to serve you based on the approval and view of others on earth but eternally keep my focus and gaze upon you.
3. Help me to number my days and to apply them according to your divine plan and will. Grant me grace to set my priorities right in Jesus name.
4. Father may I not miss my calling here on earth by following others and refusing to hear from you through a personal relationship with you
5. Help me dear Lord to know when to say yes and when to say no to things that will distract my focus from you.
6. Lord, give me a humble and attentive heart and spirit to daily allocate time and sit at your feet
7. May I not presume what your desired will for my life and family is but open my heart and ears to hear from you
8. Father, tame every spirit of anxiety, worry and distraction lurking within my life, family tonight in Jesus name.
9. Lord, grant me the spirit of discernment to discern when you have spoken to me and to know what to do at each point in life in Jesus name.
10. Father, may I not be a cast away after my service to you on earth; I hand over to you all that I have struggled to perfect in Jesus name. Amen
11. Defeat every battle going on in the spiritual realm to strip me of your hedge or armour, O God. Avert every destroying storm sent after me, my family, anywhere they may be at anytime in Jesus name. Amen.
12. Almighty God, build a wall of fire around my home against satan’s envy and jealousy. Abort all evil missions on my field of labour stirred by satan’s envy and jealousy. Shield my business and well wishers against satan’s envy and jealousy in Jesus mighty name. Amen

FAMILY MIDNIGHT PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

N/B: Beloved be on your knees lay your right hand on your head and by faith prophetically claim all the midnight declarations. See yourself as someone kneeling before a great messenger of God and after claiming all declarations, go back and sleep;

1. With double grace of God upon your life, you are totally dislocated from any form of tragedy, any instrument assigned to work against you shall resign or work for you in Jesus name – Amen.
2. God’s grace shall transform your prayer request into testimonies. According to Isaiah 60:15, the Lord Almighty will settle you with eternal excellence and make you a Joy of many generations in Jesus name.
3. The grace of God upon you this season shall be amazing, abounding and matchless. You ……………............. shall conquer the voice of Satan, destroy the voice of confusion, defeat the voice of discouragement, frustrate the plans of wickedness and fully establish the voice of God in your life in Jesus name.
4. God’s grace which is a divine impartation into a person’s life that actually makes one to level up with all the valleys and contours of life that would have swallowed him up shall cause you to survive and swim where others have drowned. This shall be your seal in Jesus name.
5. In this midnight prayer encounter, you shall be divinely empowered. Supernatural bridge of blessing shall be constructed for you in Jesus name.
6. By the comprehensive faith in the blood of Jesus Christ and the name that is above every other name, I decree that every age-long stagnation in your life is broken today in Jesus name.

ACTION TIME FOR CHRIST’S FAMILY:

1. Pray for at least 5 matured people by name in your prayers who wants to marry; ask that they be settled in their homes. Pray for God to open doors of good marriage for members of your family.
2. Send text to at least seven persons who are your junior by age and encourage them to join in this midnight family prayers.
