DAY 11 - NIGHT OF CARRYING GOOD NEWS

2 Kings 7:9 “Then they said to one another, "We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news, and we remain silent. If we wait until morning light, some punishment will come upon us. Now therefore, come, let us go and tell the king's household."”

MIDNIGHT MEDITATION:
Mary Magdalene was known by her affliction, a demoniac. Imagine being afflicted with demons and everyone being aware of it; it would be a trademark. Mary Magdalene was a young lady in the Jewish province that was possessed by seven different demons. As is very apparent with demons, demons do not possess a body and remain dormant, they are very aggressive and controlling and end up making the life of the host body very miserable as they control all aspects of that person; the person is made totally subject to their every will. This was the situation Mary Magdalene found herself. She must have seen herself doing things she wouldn’t want, going to places that she automatically detested but she had no control over her decisions, she was the town’s ridicule, the one who could not control herself, the demon infested lady. Many of her friends might have abandoned her for fear of being contaminated. Her family might have chased her out because of the smear it would bring on the family’s name; Mary Magdalene was a fugitive and may have dwelt in abandoned places like the mad man at the Gaderenes (Luke 8:28). Although the Bible has mercifully and deliberately omitted the sorrowful details of Mary Magdalene’s dreadful demoniac possession, but from inference she must have been depressed and tortured; a lunatic to say the least.

Many today are being afflicted with a myriad of challenges either physical or spiritual and there seems to be no hope in sight for an expiry date. Many have been abandoned by family and friends and left to a life of hopelessness and death just like Mary Magdalene.

After these events occurred in Mary Magdalene’s life, hope and restoration came to her through Jesus at a time where she had been totally defeated by the demons inhabiting her body. One contact with Jesus and all the years of woes, shame and abandonment were gone and taken care of. One contact with Jesus tonight will change the course of your destiny and family.

Despite being a PhD holder in demonic possession, God still appointed Mary Magdalene as the first woman to see Him physically after the resurrection. Maybe after the years of demoniac possession, Mary Magdalene had learnt that patience was a virtue hence her ability to stay back even when everyone had believed, she was not afraid of the dark nor the graveyard at that time of the night but embraced it all in the bid of seeing the Lord personally. Many times the challenges that we face in life are a preparation stage for events that we shall face in the future, when we hurry through life’s experience without asking God what we are to learn we obviously miss what trait we are to possess to help us go to a higher level.

After having an encounter with Jesus, Mary was given the first mandate to tell the disciples that Jesus was alive and that His ascension was imminent, what a rare privilege and honor! Even after she had told the disciples about the resurrection of Jesus and that she had seen Him physically, the disciples doubted and did not believe hence they locked themselves in the room for fear of the Jews who were accusing them (John 20:19). Many would have shunned her saying that she was most unqualified to see Jesus first given her past and her most insignificant role among the disciples compared to the likes of John, Peter, and Luke who were always with the Lord on all occasions. But God was unconcerned on how the disciples felt about who brought the message of His resurrection. Hallelujah!

As Mary Magdalene who was tormented by evil spirit became a carrier of good news, so shall you rise from this 21 nights of fervent prayers with good news that will daze your enemies and make many to run to Jesus Christ. It’s your night of goodnews; may you be a major distributor of good news in Jesus name.

PRAY UNTIL GOD ALMIGHTY ANSWERS (PUGAA)
IT’S MIDNIGHT PRAYER:

1. Hear my prayers O Lord, give ear to my supplications according to your faithfulness. Help me to be a carrier of good news from now onward in Jesus name.
2. O Lord, deliver me from being a people pleaser to looking up exclusively for your approval.
3. Father, grant me the grace to learn from the experiences and challenges I face at every given time and may I be fully united in you in Jesus name.
4. My Saviour, may I not join the crowd in accusing others who had left the path of Christianity but have come back to you in full repentance; may the stigma of my past not keep me away from embracing your love and redemption.
5. Father, just as you divinely appointed Mary Magdalene to be at the forefront of spreading the resurrection message, Lord appoint me for great work in your kingdom and here on earth.
6. Father, deliver me from every evil that has enchanted me from rising to the place of divine glory tonight.
7. I nullify tonight, every affliction spiritually or physically that has been a pest in my life and family and has caused us shame and ridicule.
8. Mighty redeemer, as you resurrected and the resurrection message was spread by your daughter, I stand tonight as your daughter to declare resurrection in every positive area that has been long dead in my life, Family, State, Nation, Church, and Business; receive the breath of life from the Lord this minute.
9. Lord, transform my life, family, State, Nation, church to radiate your glory and praise. Defeat the battles declared against me and my house by the wicked in Jesus name. Amen.
10. Father, all power belong to You, tonight render powerless every power that has exalted itself in my State, family and Nation and bring them down to shame and damnation.
11. Father, despite my failures in the past, as I come repentant tonight, use me for great works on earth to the glory of your name and make me a major carrier of good news in Jesus name. Amen
12. Lord, help me to recognize your voice when you speak to me; may I not mistake your voice for that of another when you speak to me. Help me to always lift up my eyes unto the hills from where comes my help.

FAMILY MIDNIGHT PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

1. This season, God’s grace shall move you to the next level; what nobody has been able to accomplish in your family shall be a very cheap achievement for you in Jesus name – Amen.
2. Grace to disorganize, disarm and frustrate the evil plans of your enemy shall accompany you from this moment in Jesus name.
3. From this moment, your contact with God’s grace shall suddenly make you an asset to your generation. Those who bluntly refused to help you before shall definitely depend on you for help in Jesus name.
4. The seal of grace shall rest in your life. The storms of life shall cease at your instance. This season is commanded to bear fruit for you in Jesus name.
5. God’s grace activated in your life shall cause the red sea of life to part in your favour. Your contact with heaven this season shall deliver to you a sweet story to tell to the glory of God in Jesus name.
6. Since God’s grace is a force that enters into a man’s life and distinguishes him, making him to excel beyond his contemporaries. This very season, God’s grace shall definitely enter into your life and help you to excel in Jesus name. Amen.
