DAY 5 - NIGHT OF PERSEVERANCE

 

Bible reading: 

Luke 2:36-38

Bible text:  

“…but served God with fastings and prayers night and day” (Luke 2:37)

MIDNIGHT MEDITATION:

True grace always produces vigilance rather than complacency; it always produces perseverance rather than indolence. The will to persevere is often the difference between failure and success; if you fall, don’t give up and get up.
A woman in the place of perseverance keeps the flag flying. Anna was a young girl when she heard the Prophesy about the birth of the Messiah. She knew according to the words of the Prophesy that the messiah would be born during her lifetime; she wanted to see the Messiah before her death and was undeterred by events that unfolded. She had been married for seven years before her husband passed on, she wanted/desired to see the salvation of the lord upon the land more than any other thing and she persevered with prayers and fasting at day and night, tirelessly until she finally beheld what she had diligently prayed for. Has God spoken to you concerning your family and it seems as if it is not coming forth, has He made promises which are yet to be fulfilled? Hold your peace for you shall soon see the salvation of the Lord

In Psalm 122:6–7 we are enjoined to pray for the peace of our nation but it seems the more prayers offered, the more calamity that occurs, it seems as if our prayers are not being heard. Be encouraged like Anna, she would have given up at the death of her young husband or gone in search of greener pastures but she did not. Because she had read about the Prophesy of the birth of the saviour of the world and wanted to see it fulfilled.
Beloved the devil does not want you to experience good tidings, he always lies in wait to discourage and cause you to give up on what God has promised you. 1 Thess. 5:17 states that “we should pray without ceasing”. Do not give up on your prayers even in the face of adversity. Remember, the words of God are spirit and they are life and cannot return to God without doing that which it was sent to do.

What promise has God spoken to your family? In Isaiah 8:18 it is written ‘Behold I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and wonders…’ Declare God’s promises over your household, speak God’s word and situations will turn around because even God when creating the world used words to call things to be.  
We are under obligation and divine duty to pray for the peace of our family/Nation – do not be deterred by the wars and rumors of wars going on, persevere like Anna; pray and praise without ceasing and see the great manifestation of God’s power. Anna held on to God’s promise and called it into existence. A story is told of a young minister whose ministry was progressing, God used him mightily to heal, deliver and bless people. Suddenly, the blessings and miracles stopped coming, his ministry dwindled and he ran back to God in tears. God showed him an old lady who had been steadfastly praying and interceding for him; but unfortunately the old lady had passed on. The power of the old woman’s unwavering prayer had ensured that the young pastors’ ministry and gift flourished.

In the same vein, God desires women who will stand in the gap and with unwavering faith and steadfastness call into existence the promises and blessings that God has destined for our families, Nation and State. The devil is willing to do all that will impede the manifestation of God’s power by causing the faith and belief of man in God to waver and dwindle. When our hope and faith in God is lost, then focus is directed at another false means of hope, will you stand in the gap of faith and call into existence the promises of God tonight?

This is the night of perseverance; frankly speaking, life is a challenge, looking for a challenger. These challenges come in diverse forms or shade, ranging from unpaid bills, sickness, strange diseases, frustration, disappointments, loneliness, matrimonial disharmony, prolonged temptations, etc.
To level every mountain on your way and wear the conquerors medal, you need the grace and spirit of perseverance. Every challenge must be confronted before it can be conquered. Tonight pray as never before. Hear this definite instruction from the Lord in Ephesians 6:18, “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints”

PRAY UNTIL GOD ALMIGHTY ANSWERS (PUGAA)

IT’S MIDNIGHT PRAYER:

  1. Lord and maker of all, speak forth your word that is spirit and life in my life, family and nation, and inspire me to move on in Jesus name.
  2. In accordance to your word in 4:30 the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the free woman, remove every yoke of captivity placed upon your redeemed heir in Christ Jesus by terrorist who seek to rule over your Church in Jesus name.
  3. My Lord, Isaiah 8:18 states that we are made for signs and wonders, Father, cause that your signs and wonders to be evident in the life of all our children in Jesus name.
  4. We decree in accordance with your word in Psalm 89: 23, that you shall plague all that hate to see your glory and deliverance upon our land and family in Jesus name
  5. In agreement to your word in Isaiah 43:3 give us as a ransom all that have sought to do my family, nation and State evil in Jesus mighty name.
  6. Abba Father, speak to every situation and force seeking for the division and destruction of Nigeria and cause every wicked arm stretched out before it to be withered.
  7. Our maker and Lord, magnify yourself in our nation ........................ and State ...................... to the glory of your name.
  8. Lord, tonight, defend Nigeria from every weapon of destruction targeted towards her.
  9. Father, establish your kingdom of truth and righteousness in our nation Nigeria, let her be at the forefront of your revival and love.
  10. By your outstretched arm, deliver Nigeria and my State ........................ from all that seek her doom and downfall and destruction
  11. Lord, destroy every evil altar raised in my family, state and nation that is not to the glory of Your name tonight in Jesus name.
  12. Almighty King, establish your covenant of continuous peace and prosperity in my family, may our borders be fruitful, and may our land yield forth her increase in and out of season.

Godly woman’s blessing:

  1. I decree that our nation Nigeria is blessed in all ramifications. She shall be a terror to all that seek to do her evil.
  2. I decree in accordance with Psalm 33:12 that Nigeria is a nation choosen by God as His own inheritance and she shall forever serve and be guided by the loving hands of the Triune God. Every tongue that rises up against her in judgment is condemned.

FAMILY MIDNIGHT PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

N/B: Beloved be on your knees lay your right hand on your head and by faith prophetically claim all the midnight declarations. See yourself as someone kneeling before a great messenger of God and after claiming all declarations, go back and sleep
  1. Angels are being assigned to carry out divine operation in your body. Receive mercy that will usher healing and breakthrough into your life in Jesus name – Amen
  2. The answers to your prayers shall no longer be delayed; your long awaited miracle shall be delivered to you urgently. Great Opportunities for exploit will knock at your door this season in Jesus name. Amen.
  3. In the midst of any form of confusion, God Almighty will make a way for you! Marvellous help of God is your portion, and all round blessings shall locate you now in Jesus name.
  4. The things you do not deserve by human standard shall be delivered unto you by God’s grace; from this season, you shall become a point of attraction in Jesus name.
  5. Whatever satanic idol that is contending against your breakthrough is destroyed by fire tonight and whatever righteous endeavour you shall embark on, you shall receive sufficient grace to arrive at your designated end, in Jesus name. Amen!
  6. From this moment, the blood of Jesus Christ shall speak abundant blessings, protection, healing, favour, peace, joy and breakthrough for you in Jesus name – AMEN.

ACTION TIME FOR CHRIST’S FAMILY:

  1. Tonight, write down the habits you want to replace and the new ones you want to cultivate and pray that God Almighty will grant you grace to replace them.
  2. Under the grace of perseverance, find out those you have invited for the prayers that are yet to join and mount kingdom pressure on them using your knees and reminding them.
